Developing Others As Employees and Leaders (April 25 8:30 - 10:30 CT)
**We are unable to add participants to the webinar roster who register less than 60 minutes before its start time.**
SESSION SUMMARY:
Peter Drucker said that “Developing talent is business’s most important task;” and yet, many businesses and their managers fail to do so successfully. One reason for this is organizations fail to develop their managers’ knowledge, skills, and abilities to be talent developers.
During this LIVE, interactive 2-hour session exclusively offered to the University of Oklahoma employees, attendees will learn about the leader’s role as a talent developer, the core drivers of skill and professional development, and how to support an individual’s development. The facilitator will share best practices and tips for leading professional development conversations and a framework and tools to successfully facilitate the conversation. Attendees will have the opportunity to create a personal plan for applying the skills learned with their employees.
