Liz is a veteran business leader with over 20 years of experience in strategy, operations, and people. Currently, she is an independent advisor, coach, and board member serving clients from startups to the Fortune 500 across various sectors including technology, consumer products and services, energy, industrial products, chemicals, and aerospace and defense. Previously, she was the Chief Product & Strategy Officer for Safe Kids AI, a Partner in PwC’s Global Structuring, and a co-founding partner of Verse Consulting. She started her career as an investment banker with Houlihan Lokey and Arthur Anderson. Liz has also served as the Financial Officer for The Episcopal Diocese of Texas.
Liz is passionate about technology and social impact. As a responsible business leader, Liz is on the board of directors of Genesys Works Houston and the board of Mental Health America of Greater Houston. She also serves as a mentor for veterans transitioning from military service into the civilian workforce through American Corporate Partners. She is active in the American Psychological Association, the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues, the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and the Society of Consulting Psychology. As an ICF-credentialed coach, she partners with emerging and established leaders to help them reach their goals and unlock their potential. Academically, her research interests include ethical leadership, trust, and the technologies of Web3. Liz’s work has been featured in leading publications including strategy + business, Oil & Gas Financial Journal, Offshore, and Tax Notes International. She has presented her academic research around the world. She lives with both major depressive disorder (MDD) and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). Beginning in January 2020, Liz took a year-long leave of absence from the PwC partnership to address her mental health. She is open about her journey and has written extensively about her experience on her award-winning blog. She was named to the 2023 International Mental Health Role Model LeaderBoard by InsideOut. |
