SESSION SUMMARY:
Organizations face an unprecedented pace of change. Organizations that are nimble and able to adapt to new and changing demands will survive, and those that can’t will likely perish. An organization’s leaders must be out front communicating and connecting, building buy-in, and overcoming resistance to help employees implement necessary transformations.
During this LIVE, interactive 60-minute session exclusively offered to the University of Oklahoma employees, attendees will explore the leader’s role as change agent, why change is difficult, and ways to better manage change. Attendees will learn about how different people respond to change, the range of emotional reactions to change, and common mistakes leaders make when communicating about and implementing change. The facilitator will share several tools to use when leading change as well as tips for navigating employee resistance to change.
