ED KIM, MAEXECUTIVE COACH + TEAM DEVELOPMENT
New York, NY
Ed Kim is a leadership coach with 10+ years of experience engaging with leaders to align their intentions to their impact. He is passionate about meeting people where they are to set them up for success. Through coaching, he has helped people grow in self-awareness and confidence, to take responsibility for leading themselves and not to be hijacked by distractions and arbitrary expectations.
Ed’s perspectives on coaching are strongly influenced by servant leadership and Richard Schwartz’s Internal Family Systems model. His approach is to meet you where you are and to set you up for success. He is genuinely interested in learning what success means for you and the underlying reasons why it is so important. He is passionate about exploring and integrating the roles we play in life because professional and personal life are intertwined. A bad day at work influences time at home and a sleepless night with a crying toddler will impact the workday. Learning how to be aware of and be in a healthy relationship with ourselves is a skill that amplifies how we lead our teams and colleagues. Ed offers organizational development consulting and works with leaders and teams to improve and enhance people's engagement and experience at work.
